BattleLine Films produces live broadcasts, highlights and documentaries of Wisconsin high school and youth sports. This page explains what information we handle and how.
battlelinefilms.com does not require an account and does not sell or share personal information. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages visited) for security and performance.
Our broadcasts and highlights show players at public sporting events, with jersey names, numbers and game statistics as shown on the broadcast. We do not publish players' birthdates, home addresses or contact details. A parent, guardian or player can ask us to remove a name or a video at any time by emailing mitch@battlelinefilms.com, and we will honor the request.
BattleLine Uploader is an internal tool used only by BattleLine Films to upload our own finished videos to our own YouTube channel. It uses Google's YouTube Data API to upload videos, set their titles and descriptions and schedule their publishing, and to read our channel's own video list so nothing is uploaded twice. It does not access any other user's data. Google sign-in credentials are stored only on our own computer and are never shared with anyone. BattleLine Uploader's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Use of YouTube is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
BattleLine Uploader stores no data from YouTube users. The only stored item is our own sign-in token, kept on our own computer, which we can delete at any time by revoking access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To request deletion of any information about you, email mitch@battlelinefilms.com and we will respond within 7 days.
